Tato diplomová práce se zabývá historickým vývojem střešních konstrukcí a materiálů k nim užívaných. Časově se pohybujeme od stavitelství antického Řecka a Říma až po vývoj moderních železobetonových konstrukcí ve 20. století. Zaměřuje se nejen na samotnou konstrukci střechy a její typy, ale i na vhodnou krytinu, a vyzdvihuje přednosti, nebo případné nedostatky jednotlivých typů konstrukcí, jejich prvků a věcí s tím souvisejících. Dále je zde pojednáno o typologii samotného materiálu, jeho vývoji a správnému zpracování. Cílem je sumarizace těchto informací a nastínění vývojové řady od antiky po současnost. This diploma thesis deals with the historical development of roof structures and materials used in their construction. The development in time can be delimited from the antique Rome and Greek up to the introduction of modern reinforced concrete structures in the twentieth century. The paper focuses not only on the roof structures and their types, but also on the appropriate roofing. In addition, it highlights the advantages or disadvantages of the individual types of structures, their elements and other relevant things. It is also devoted to the typology of the materials, their development and correct processing. The main aim of this work is to summarize the information and to outline the development from the earliest times up to the present.
