Souhrn Cíl: Shrnout dosavadní poznatky o syndromu vyhoření (dále jen SV). Pomocí dotazníkového šetření zjistit povědomí o SV mezi dentálními hygienistkami (dále jen DH), potažmo studenty dentální hygieny se SV. Popsat tuto problematiku z pohledu DH. Pomocí letáku zrekapitulovat prevenci SV. Úvod: Profese DH má několik úskalí, která mohou být rizikovými činiteli pro vznik či rozvoj SV. Tato profese vyžaduje jednak vysoké emociální nasazení, dále výbornou manuální zručnost a vykonávání profese bez asistence. Tyto faktory tudíž mohou působit na psychickou stránku a následně mohou vést k jeho vzniku a rozvoji. Proto je nutností, aby každá DH měla jakési povědomí o hrozbě SV a byla schopná rozpoznat obecné příznaky. Materiál a metodika: Byly vytvořeny dva anonymní dotazníky na google.com, které byly zacíleny na DH s praxí a studenty dentální hygieny. Dotazníky byly rozesílány pomocí sociálních sítí a emailu. Dotazník pro DH dotazník byl tvořen 13 otázkami, přičemž ho zpracovalo 70 DH. Dotazník pro studenty obsahoval 11 otázek, přičemž 71 studenty byl zpracován. Dále byla prezentovaná kazuistika, která se vztahovala na DH, jež si prodělala SV. Sběr potřebných dat pro kazuistiku byl tvořen anamnézou, vyplněním dotazníku a seznamem 65 otázek, které byly zodpovězeny během intenzivního ústního rozhovoru. Získaná data... Aim: To sum up the existing knowledge of burnout syndrome (hereinafter referred to as BS). Through a questionnaire survey, to determine the awareness of BS between dental hygienists (DH), respectively dental hygiene students suffering from BS. Describe this issue from the BS perspective. Using a leaflet to recap BS prevention. Introduction: DH has several pitfalls that can be a risk factor for the emergence or development of BS. This profession requires high emotional commitment, excellent manual skills and working without assistance. These factors can affect the psychological side and consequently lead to its occurrence and development. Therefore, it is necessary for every DH to have some awareness of the BS threat and to be able to recognize general symptoms. Material and Method: Two anonymous questionnaires were created on google.com, which focused on experienced DH and dental hygiene students. The questionnaires were distributed via social networks and emails. The questionnaire for DH consisted of 13 questions and was elaborated by 70 DH. The student questionnaire contained 11 questions, with 71 students being processed. In addition, a case report was presented that regarded the DH who suffered from BS.
