Předložená diplomová práce s názvem Mladiství muži ve výkonu trestu odnětí svobody a podpora sebeúcty má za cíl zjistit, jaké jsou možnosti pro podporu sebeúcty u mladistvých mužů ve VTOS. Práce je rozdělena na tři části. První část obsahuje dvě kapitoly a zabývá se teoretickým rámcem daného tématu. První kapitola vymezuje pojem, porovnává různé definice a uvádí sebeúctu v souvislosti se spiritualitou. Zaměřuje se na mladistvé odsouzené a programy prevence ve věznicích. Druhá kapitola shrnuje možnosti a zdroje podpory sebeúcty. Zkoumá využití prvků sekundární prevence delikvence a pastorační péče, možnosti podpory sebeúcty mladistvých ve VTOS a úskalí práce s cílovou skupinou. Druhá část představuje kvalitativní výzkum, který jsem prováděla převážně ve věznicích během dvou let. Cílem výzkumných aktivit (skupinové a individuální rozhovory, analýza dokumentů) bylo zjistit, co sebeúctu odsouzených ohrožuje a reálné možnosti podpory. Výzkum shrnuje zjištění z analýzy dat a uvádí jejich význam pro třetí část práce. Třetí část tvoří návrh sebepoznávacího programu pro mladistvé delikventy. Nástrojem programu je sada pracovních listů. Ve struktuře a obsahu propojuji teoretické poznatky se zjištěními z terénu a zohledňuji připomínky odborníků a respondentů, kteří ověřovali na bázi dobrovolnosti nástroj v praxi. Presented thesis entitled Juvenile men in their sentence of imprisonment and their self-respect support tries to find out the possibilities of self-respect support by juvenile men in their sentence of imprisonment. The work is divided into three parts. The first part, including two chapters, deals with a theoretical scope of the theme on the basis of specialist literature. The first chapter determines a term of self-respect, compares its different definitions and presents self-respect in spiritual context. It concentrates on juvenile imprisoned men self-respect and secondary prevention programmes offered by prisons. The second chapter summarizes practical possibilities and sources of self- respect support. It explores the usage of elements of secondary prevention of delinquency and pastoral care. It summarizes possibilities of self-respect support of juvenile imprisoned men and difficulties in work with a target group. The second part presents a qualitative research made by the author in the period of two years, primarily in prisons. The research activities (group and individual interviews, documents' analysis) were aimed at discovering factors that endanger self-respect of sentenced persons, and also realistic ways of support.
