Náplní bakalářské práce bylo zhotovení Dokumentace pro stavební povolení a části Dokumentace pro provádění stavby na základě architektonické studie, která byla vypracována v předmětu AG33 – Ateliér architektonické tvorby III v letním semestru druhého ročníku. Předmětem této studie byla obnova a návrh nového využití objektu současného hl. vlakového nádraží v Brně, jenž je situován do centra města Brna v městské části Brno – Střed na k.ú. Město Brno (610003). Projekt řeší obnovu objektu a možnosti jeho nového využití ve variantě odsunu hlavního vlakového nádraží cca 800 metrů jižním směrem. Součástí bakalářské práce je ideové řešení nového využití historické budovy, areálu současného kolejiště a návaznosti objektu na blízké okolí. Podrobné řešení se zabývá novostavbou hotelu v místě nejnovějšího křídla vlakového nádraží, které bude zbouráno. Základní myšlenkou je zachovat co největší část historického objektu a hodnotných konstrukcí, vyhnout se navyšování zastavěných ploch a vnést do budovy a centra města nový život. Atraktivnost budovy bude umocněna novým parkem vybudovaným v místě současného kolejiště. Na park bude v úrovni stávajícího kolejiště navazovat nová lávka ústící ve 2.NP OD Tesco a NG Vaňkovka. Parkovací kapacita je zajištěna podzemním parkovištěm, nově vybudovaným pod kolejištěm. Dále dojde k moderní dostavbě věže u hlavní haly budovy, která byla zbourána za 2. Světové války. Přístavba nového křídla, celá rekonstrukce i všechny dostavby (nová věž) budou řešeny moderní formou, která bude respektovat a zdůrazňovat secesní historickou budovu a genius loci místa. This thesis deals with restoration and repurposing of main train station building in Brno. It consists of Building permit documentation and part of Documentation for execution of the project, both of which are based on architectonic study created as part of course AG33 - Architectural Design Studio III. during previous studies. The building is situated in Brno city centre, district Brno – Střed, cadastral area (municipality of) Město Brno (610003). The project assumes that the main train station will be moved ca 800 meters to the south, leaving the current train station building unused. The project incorporates a conceptual study of a new purpose for the historic building and nearby railway junction, including its interconnection with near surroundings. Detailed solution describes a new hotel building, which will replace current newest wing of the train station. The main idea of the transformation is to keep as much of the historic building and valuable structures as possible, avoid increasing the building footprint and bring new life to the building and city centre. The attractiveness of the site will be enhanced by a new park located in the area currently occupied by the railway junction. The park will be connected to the 2nd floor of the Tesco shopping centre and Vaňkovka shopping gallery by a pedestrian bridge. Parking capacity will be provided by a new underground car park built below the railway junction. Additionally, modern version of the original tower above the main hall, which was destroyed during World War II, will be built. The new hotel building, as well as all repairs and changes (new tower) will follow a modern style, while respecting and enhancing the historic Art Nouveau building and genius loci of the place.
