Obezita je celosvětově velice závažný zdravotní a sociálně ekonomický problém dnešní doby. Dětská obezita představuje vyšší riziko výskytu obezity a dalších přidružených zdravotních potíží v pozdějším, dospělém věku. Jak uvádí některé výzkumy, v České republice má každé čtvrté dítě nadváhu a každé sedmé dítě trpí obezitou. Příčinou obezity jsou nejen špatné stravovací návyky a nedostatečná pohybová aktivita, ale významný vliv mají také genetické, psychologické a socioekonomické faktory. Z toho důvodu je důležitým a jediným úspěšným krokem samotná prevence. Cílem bakalářské práce bylo nalezení souvislostí mezi sociálně - finančním zázemím rodiny a vznikem dětské obezity. Zjistit, zda stupeň dosaženého vzdělání a výše finančního příjmu rodiny ovlivňuje vznik dětské obezity. Práce se dále zaměřuje na zmapování stravovacích návyků obézních dětí v souvislosti se sociálně finančním zázemím. Materiály ke vzniku teoretické části práce byly získávány z odborné literatury, lékařských časopisů, článků a internetových zdrojů WHO, SZÚ, ÚZIS. V této části byla definována dětská obezita a socioekonomické vlivy. Výzkumná část práce probíhala formou kvantitativního dotazníkového šetření, které bylo anonymní a zcela dobrovolné. Childhood obesity means a higher risk of obesity and other associated health problems in later adulthood. As some research shows, every fourth child in the Czech Republic is overweight and every seventh child is obese. The cause of obesity is not only poor eating habits and lack of physical activity, but also genetic, psychological and socio-economic factors. For this reason, prevention itself is an important and only successful step. The main goal of this bachelor thesis was to find the connection between the socio - financial background of the family and the childhood obesity. Find out if the level of education and the level of family income affect childhood obesity. The work also focuses on mapping the eating habits of obese children in connection with social and financial backgrounds. The materials for the theoretical part of the thesis were obtained from professional literature, medical journals, articles and internet sources WHO, SZÚ, ÚZIS. Child obesity and socio-economic influences have been defined in this section.
