Předkládaná práce je zaměřena do oblasti kariérního poradenství, konkrétně na podporu studentů středních škol, kteří stojí před volbou dalšího profesního směřování. Práce se zabývá edukačním programem (zaměřeným právě do oblastí kariérní volby) jakožto metodou kariérního poradenství. Cílem je zjistit, nakolik daný program naplňuje jemu určené cíle a jak je program možné dále zdokonalovat. Za tímto účelem je v první části práce vystavěna potřebná teoretická základna. Empirická část pak blíže představuje daný program a popisuje zrealizovanou výzkumnou sondu, která byla postavena na principech akčního výzkumu, a která zkoumala právě naplnění cílů programu a další možnosti k jeho zdokonalení. The emphasis is on an educational career choice programme (that targets on the making of career choices) as a method of career counselling. The goal of the thesis is to examine if the programme meets its goals and to examine possible ways of its improvement. The thesis first offers a theoretical grounding of the topic. Then the empirical part includes a detailed description of the educational programme and then a follow-up research probe examining the fulfilling of the programme's goals and the possible ways of its improvement.
