Bakalářská práce Masarykovy obecné školy ve Strakonicích se zabývá tématem školní architektury a je zaměřena na budovu pod tehdejším názvem Masarykových obecných škol ve Strakonicích. Stavba je zkoumána především z uměleckohistorického hlediska a je představena v meziválečné době Československa. Hlavním cílem práce je detailní popis budovy a zasazení do kontextu školních staveb v první polovině 20. století v Jihočeském kraji. Dále práce poukazuje, jak bylo toto téma reflektováno v tehdejších publikacích a v neposlední řadě se také zmiňuje o urbanistickém vývoji města Strakonice na začátku 20. století. The bachelor thesis of the Masaryk general school in Strakonice deals with the topic of school architecture and focuses on a building under the then name of Masaryk general schools in Strakonice. The construction is mainly studied from an artistic and historical point of view and is presented in the interwar period of Czechoslovakia. The main aim of the work is to provide a detailed description of the building and to fit into the context of school buildings in the first half of the 20th century in the South Bohemian region. Further, the work shows how this topic was reflected in the publications of that time and, last but not least, also mentions the urban development of Strakonice in the early 20th century.
