Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na hospodaření obce Vyškov v letech 2012 až 2016. Teoretická část vymezuje základní pojmy územní samosprávy, hospodaření obce a finanční analýzy. V analytické části je představena obec, dále je provedena analýza schválených a skutečných rozpočtů, vývoj příjmů, výdajů a vybraných ukazatelů. Na základě analytické části jsou v práci navržena řešení, která vedou ke zlepšení hospodaření obce a přispívají k rozvoji služeb poskytovaných veřejnosti. Focus of this bachelor thesis is on financial and economic efficiency of city Vyškov during years 2012 to 2016. Firstly, theoretical analysis states fundamental concepts concerning the local council. Secondly, the analytical section offers description of the city, analysis of approved and actual budgets and historical development of income, expenses and other key metrics. Lastly, based on the latter section, a set of policies that result in an increase of financial and economic efficiency as well as development of services offered to the public, are presented.
