[cze][eng] Každý z nás se může ocitnout v nemocničním zařízení. Taková událost může potkat i sestru. Sestra v roli pacienta může mít na hospitalizaci úplně jiný náhled než ostatní pacienti. Sestra se orientuje v dané problematice, ale ostatní klienti většinou nikoli. To může mít své výhody i nevýhody. Výhodou je, že pacientka sestra, ví, jak má vypadat správná ošetřovatelská péče a může hodnotit své kolegyně. Nevýhodou je, že pokud sestra udělá chybu, pacientka sestra to pozná a může se obávat možných komplikací. Naším prvním cílem bylo zjistit, jak sestra prožívala hospitalizaci v roli pacienta cítila. Druhým cílem bylo zjistit, jak hospitalizace ovlivnila práci sestry v zaměstnání. Pro výzkumné šetření byla použita kvalitativní metoda. Tato metoda byla uskutečněna pomocí polostrukturovaného rozhovoru. Pro výzkum bylo osloveno 13 respondentek. Všechny odpovědi jsou zcela anonymní. Rozhovory byly posbírány během března 2018. Kategorizace výsledných dat byla zpracována pomocí kódování a rozdělené do kategorií a podkategorií. Výsledným šetřením bylo zjištěno, že prožívání hospitalizace sester je velice individuální. Největší problémy byly zaznamenány v poskytování informací ze strany sester. Dále se také zaznamenaly chyby sester při aplikaci odborných výkonů. Tyto chyby mohly ohrozit zdraví klientek. Ošetřovatelskou péči si pacientky sestry chválily. Dále bylo zjištěno, že po hospitalizaci byla práce sester v zaměstnání ovlivněna. Největší změny sestry udělaly v komunikaci, edukaci, empatii a celkovému přístupu k pacientovi. Po zkušenosti se svou hospitalizací se více umí vcítit do pacientovy situace. Došli jsme k závěru, že pokud sestra získá zkušenosti ze své vlastní hospitalizace, dokáže se poté lépe vcítit do role pacienta a zároveň dokáže poskytnout lepší ošetřovatelskou péči. Výsledky této práce by mohly sloužit jako materiál pro sestry k zamyšlení se nad chováním a vztahem ke svým pacientům. Everyone may be admitted to hospital, even a nurse. Nurses in the role of patients may have a completely different experience with hospitalization than other patients. The nurse is familiar with the issue, but other clients are usually not. That can have its advantages and disadvantages. The advantage is that a nurse-patient knows how should the nursing care look like and then she can evaluate her colleague. The disadvantage is that if a nurse makes a mistake, the nurse-patient recognizes it and may worry about possible complications. The first goal is to ascertain how the nurse experienced hospitalization as a patient. The second objective is to determine how the hospitalization influenced the nurse in her employment. The research was conducted by applying the qualitative method. The method was carried out by using a semi-structured interview. Thirteen respondents were approached for the survey. All answers are completely anonymous. The interviews were collected during March 2018. The categorization of the results was processed by coding and dividing into categories and subcategories. The collected data revealed that the nurses' experiences with hospitalization are very individual. The most significant problems have been reported in providing information. Errors in performing expert procedures were also revealed. These errors could endanger the health of clients. The nurse-patients appreciated the nursing care. After the hospitalization, the work of nurses in their employment was also affected. The nurses considerably improved in communication, education, empathy, and general approach to the patient. They are able to sympathise with the patients because of experiencing their hospitalization. We have concluded that if a nurse gains the experience from her own hospitalization she can then comprehend the role of the patient and at the same time she can provide better nursing care. The results of this study may serve as a material for nurses to consider their behaviour and their approach to the patients.
