Východiska: Nárazové pití mezi studenty vysokých škol v zahraničí je velmi frekventované zejména v USA, kde pije 60 % studentů ve věku od 18 -22 let, z toho 2- 3pijí nárazově minimálně raz týdně (Collegedrinkingprevention.gov, 2017). V České republice máme pravidelné výročné zprávy o stavě konzumace alkoholu v populaci, ale na vysokoškolské studenty se systémově nezaměřuje žádná studie či zpráva. Cíl: Cílem výzkumu je zjistit rozsah a vzorec konzumace alkoholu mezi studenti vysokých škol v Praze, zejména se zaměřením na nárazové pití. Výzkumný soubor: Nenáhodně vybraní respondenti v počtu 891, který splnili vstupní kritérium (vysokoškolské studium v Praze) a byli ochotní se studie zúčastnit (convenient sample). Metodologie: Praktická část práce byla realizovaná formou on-line dotazníkové průřezové studie mezi studenty vysokých škol v Praze šířené prostřednictvím sociální sítě Facebook. Byla provedena deskriptivní analýza dat. Výsledky: Soubor 891 respondentů zahrnoval 501 žen a 390 můžu v průměrném veku 21,6 let. Byli to studenti z celkem 11 univerzit, z toho nejvíce bylo 27 % z ČVUT (České vysoké učení technické), 26,8% z UK (Univerzita Karlova), 23,7% z VŠE (Vysoká škola Ekonomická) a 17,4% z VŠCHT (Vysoká škola chemicko-technologická). Nejvíce respondentů pilo za posledních 12 měsíců jeden až... Current situation: Abroad, binge drinking among university students is very frequent. Mostly in the USA, 60% of students from 18 to 22 years of age drink alcohol. Almost 2 of 3 out of them engaged in binge drinking once a week at minimum rate (CollegeAIM,2017). Annual reports on alcohol consumption are issued in Czech Republic. These reports are not focused on university students. Goal: The purpose of my research is to find out amount and potential patterns in alcohol consumption among university students in Prague, with its main focus on binge drinking. Survey sample: Non-randomly chosen 891 respondents, who fulfilled inclusion criterion (attending university in Prague) and were willing to participate in the study (convenient sample). Methodology: Online cross-sectional survey among students distributed via social network Facebook. A descriptive analysis was conducted. Outcomes: Sample of 891 respondents consisted of 501 women and 390 men with the average age 21,6 years. They were attending 11 universities, from witch most of them, 27%, were from ČVUT (Czech Technical University) 26,8% were from UK (Charles University); 23,7% were from VŠE (University of Economics) and 17,4% were VŠCHT (University of Chemistry and Technology).
