Neurodegenerativní onemocnění představují heterogenní skupinu nemocí, při nichž dochází k postupnému zániku jednotlivých skupin neuronů. V závislosti na postižení specifické oblasti se rozvíjejí konkrétní klinické projevy. Nejčastěji se vyskytují motorické poruchy nebo postupný deficit v kognitivní oblasti ústící v různý stupeň demence. Předložená práce je zaměřena na popis psychologických změn a neuropsychiatrických symptomů doprovázejících rozvoj Parkinsonovy choroby a demence s Lewyho tělísky. V empirické části je představen návrh vlastního výzkumu, jehož cílem je zmapovat neuropsychologický profil pacientů s Parkinsonovou nemocí, demencí při Parkinsonově nemoci a demencí s Lewyho tělísky. Clinical symptoms evolve as a result of impairment of particular brain regions. The most frequent symptoms are motoric malfunctions and cognitive deficits leading in some cases to dementia. This thesis focuses on description of psychological changes and neuropsychological disorders accompanying Parkinson's disease and dementia with Lewy bodies. An original research proposal aiming at exploration of neuropsychological profile of patients with Parkinson's disease and dementia with Lewy bodies is presented in the empirical part.
