Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na skryté titulky pro neslyšící diváky v českých celovečerních filmech na DVD. Podle Zákona č. 249/2006 mají distributoři od roku 2007 povinnost opatřovat DVD nosiče s českými celovečerními filmy titulky pro neslyšící diváky. Cílem práce je porovnat tuto právní úpravu s legislativním stavem ve vybraných evropských i mimoevropských zemích, dále na základě analýzy DVD produkce z let 2007-2016 zmapovat dodržování této české zákonné povinnosti, a nakonec popsat nejčastější strategie, které se v České republice při tvorbě titulků pro neslyšící diváky na DVD uplatňují. No. 249/2006 distributors have been obliged to provide DVD media with the Czech feature films with subtitles for deaf audience. The aim of the thesis is to compare this legal regulation with the legislative status in selected European and non-European countries as well as to map out the observance of this Czech legal obligation according to the basis of the DVD production analysis from years 2007-2016 and finally to define the prevailing strategies that are in place for creating subtitles for deaf audience on DVDs in the Czech Republic.
