Magisterská práce, po vzoru již transformovaných domovů pro osoby se zdravotním postižením, se zabývá transformací sociální služby pro seniory z péče ústavní do péče komunitní. Cílem práce je vytvoření maximálně příznivých podmínek pro důstojné dožití seniorů v přirozeném prostředí. Práce představuje projektový záměr transformace sociálních služeb v Domově důchodců Čížkovice. Samotný projekt předchází analýza východisek, která byla nápomocná k odstartování a průběhu procesu transformace sociálních služeb v Evropě. Realizaci projektu jako příkladu dobré praxe se otevře cesta pro další následovníky ve vytváření důstojných podmínek pro dožití seniorů bez segregace a diskriminace. The aim of the thesis is to propose a project to understand how to create the most favourable conditions for seniors to live dignified lives in their natural environment. The thesis presents the project's intension of transforming the social services in the retirement home in Cizkovice. The project itself was forerun by an analysis of resources, which were helpful for starting and advancing the process of transformation of social services in Europe. The execution of the project will open the way of good practice in creating dignified conditions for life of seniors without segregation and discrimination.
