Tématem rigorózní práce je problematika výuky moderních dějin na základních a středních školách v České republice. Práce je členěna do dvou hlavních částí. První část se věnuje analýze legislativního rámce vzdělávací politiky České republiky s akcentem na výuku moderních dějin, rozboru a hodnocení základních kurikulárních dokumentů. Ve stručnosti jsou uvedeny i vybrané faktory, které ovlivňují proces výuky. Následně je provedena didaktická analýza učebnic dějepisu, které byly vyhodnoceny na základě realizovaného kvantitativního výzkumu na vybraných středních školách jako nejčastěji využívané. Druhá část práce je zaměřena na využití metody projektové výuky jako vhodného způsobu motivujícího, atraktivního a efektivního vzdělávání žáků základních a středních škol v oblasti moderních dějin. V teoretické rovině jsou charakterizovány vybrané projekty realizované školami, paměťovými institucemi či neziskovými organizacemi. Praktická část je pak věnována charakteristice, podrobnému metodickému zpracování a evaluaci vlastního autorského projektu Vzpomínky na 80. léta v Československu, který vznikl pod záštitou Národního muzea v rámci projektu Dotkni se 20. století!. KLÍČOVÁ SLOVA Vzdělávání, školský zákon, kurikulární reforma, moderní dějiny, projekt, škola The theme of the presented rigorous thesis is problematics of teaching of modern history in primary and secondary schools in the Czech Republic. The thesis is divided into two main parts. The first part deals with an analysis of legislative frame of educational politics of the Czech Republic with an emphasis on teaching of modern history, analysis and evaluation of curricular documents. Initially, chosen factors which affect the process of teaching are briefly mentioned. Afterwards, a didactic analysis of history textbooks, on the basis of a quantitative research rated as the most common ones, is carried out. The second part of the thesis is focused on utilization of project teaching as a convenient way of motivating, attractive and effective education of primary and secondary school students in the field of modern history. Characteristics of chosen projects realized by schools, memory institutions or nonprofit organizations are given on a theoretical level. The practical part is then dedicated to the characteristics, detailed methodical treatment and evaluation of my own authorial project Memories of the 1980s in Czechoslovakia that was created under the auspices of the National Museum's project Touch the 20th century!.
