Diplomová práce se zabývá propagandou z teoretického hlediska, které je aplikováno na tzv. Islámský stát. Cílem práce je analýza propagandy Islámského státu mezi lety 2006-2016, kdy je toto období rozděleno na 3 časové úseky. První kapitola definuje propagandu, její nástroje, cíle a pilíře. Druhá kapitola se zabývá Islámským státem a jeho ideologií a médii, které využívá pro šíření své propagandy. Častým cílem propagandy jsou tzv. zahraniční bojovníci, na které se zaměřuje třetí kapitola a zkoumá i proces jejich radikalizace. Závěrečná kapitola aplikuje teorii propagandy na Islámský stát a identifikuje nástroje a pilíře propagandy v jednotlivých zkoumaných obdobích. The thesis concentrates on propaganda from the theoretical point of view that is later applied to the example of the Islamic state. The aim of the thesis is to analyze propaganda of the Islamic State between the years 2006-2016. This period is divided into three spells. The first chapter defines propaganda, its´ tools, targets and pillars. The second chapter focuses on the Islamic state and its´ ideology and the media it uses to spread its´ propaganda. Foreign fighters are a frequent target of the propaganda, therefore, the third chapter focuses on them and the process of their radicalisation. The final chapter applies the theory of propaganda to the Islamic State and identifies the tools and pillars of propaganda in all three time spells.
