V diplomové práci je zkoumán fenomén singles a jeho vývoj po roce 1989 na území České republiky. Důsledky fenoménu singles se začaly postupně objevovat kolem roku 2000. V teoretické části práce jsou vysvětleny pojmy, možné příčiny vzniku, které se v nedávné historii ovlivňovaly demografické ukazatele úzce související se singles. V praktické části jsou zobrazeny pomocí grafů demografické ukazatele, které souvisejí s fenoménem singles. Taktéž jsou zobrazena socioekonomická data z výzkumu MMLTGI agentury Median, s.r.o., která lépe zachycují skutečný vývoj fenoménu singles. Následně jsou vyhodnoceny hypotézy, zda platí či ne. The diploma thesis deals with the phenomenon singles and its development after 1989 in the territory of the Czech Republic. The implications of the phenomenon singles began gradually to appear after 2000. Theoretical part of the thesis contains explanation of concepts, possible causes of formation of this phenomenon, which in the recent past influenced the demographic indicators closely related to singles. Following practical part describes demographic indicators connected with phenomenon singles using graphs and carto diagrams based on data from the Czech Statistical Office. Also, the socio-economic data from research agency Median, s.r.o. and their research MML-TGI, which better capture the current development of phenomenon singles are shown. The conclusion is whether the hypotheses have been confirmed or refuted.
