Cílem této bakalářské práce je seznámit se s procesy, jakými kovy ovlivňují zbarvení kostní tkáně a zubů během dekompozice těla. Bakalářská práce rovněž shrnuje poznatky o důvodech přítomnosti kovů na tělech zemřelých. Jedná se hlavně o kovy, které se do hrobu zemřelého dostaly záměrně a zároveň viditelně ovlivnily změnu zbarvení tvrdé tkáně. Ale zmíněny jsou i případy, kdy se kosti nebo zuby obarvily z důvodu neobvyklého složení půdy. Pozornost je věnována zejména železu (Fe), rtuti (Hg), mědi (Cu). Práce zároveň představuje vhodné a často používané metody výzkumu k analýze barviv. Část textu je věnována i zbarvení kostí a zubů, na které působily kovy během života jednotlivce, a k obarvení tedy nedošlo po smrti (např. kovy ve stravě, léčivech apod.). Zvolené téma nabízí jiný úhel pohledu na ty pohřební rituály, které ve svém důsledku mění přirozené zbarvení tvrdé tkáně. Výsledky výzkumů změny barvy tvrdé tkáně je možné využít například k rekonstrukci pohřebních rituálů a forenzních případů. Některá kovová barviva mohou být i ukazatelem postavení ve společnosti. klíčová slova: tafonomie, forenzní, zbarvení, pohřební rituál, kov The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to become familiar with the way in which certain metals are able to affect coloration of bone tissue and teeth during body decomposition. This work also summarizes the primary causes for the presence of metals on the body of the deceased. Specifically, it is referring to metals that have been intentionally added into the gravesites and therefore have visibly influenced the colour of hard tissue. However, there are also mentioned cases of unintentional bone staining caused by unusual chemical composition of soil. It has been given special attention to iron (Fe), mercury (Hg), copper (Cu). A chapter about suitable and commonly used experimental methods for pigment analysis has been included as well. There are also mentioned cases of bone and teeth coloration which occurred before the individual died (metals in the diet, pharmaceuticals, etc.). The chosen topic provides a different view of those burial rituals, procedures of which are the main reason of hard tissue pigmentation. The outcomes of research of the hard tissue discoloration can be for example used for reconstruction of both burial rituals and special forensic cases.
