Práce se zabývá ikonografickou analýzou motivu sv. Příbuzenstva, zaměřuje se na zdroje v Písmu sv., v církevní tradici i mezi význačnými teology a historiky. Přeloženy jsou texty z řecké i latinské patristiky, texty církevních dokumentů a význačných teologů. Ke dvěma známým českým obrazům nachází neznámé paralely z aukčních katalogů. Přináší přehled maleb a plastik s motivem sv. Příbuzenstva v ČR.
