Cílem bakalářské práce "Politika první Československé republiky vůči romské menšině" je popsat legislativní opatření, která se vztahovala na romské etnikum v Československu během let 1918 až 1938. Práce se primárně zaměřuje na zákon č. 117/1927 Sb. o potulných cikánech, který měl na svoji dobu výjimečnou povahu. Pokouší se nastínit okolnosti, za kterých daný zákon vznikal. Práce obsahuje analýzu důvodové zprávy zákona, analýzu rozprav k zákonu na půdě Národního shromáždění a nakonec samotné naplňování zákona státními orgány. The goal of this bachelor thesis "Policy of first Czechoslovak Republic to the Roma Minority is to describe the legislative measures applied from Czechoslovakia to Romani ethnic group in the years of 1918 to 1938. The thesis is primary focused on law no. 117/1927 Sb. On travelling gypsies had exceptional character for its time. It's trying to describe circumstances during which the law was created. The thesis includes analysis of explanatory report of the law, analysis of debates about the law in the National Assembly and eventually implementation of the law by state.
