Bakalářská práce chronologicky popisuje život Jiřího Havelky od narození v Rusku, přes práci v protektorátních vládách Rudolfa Berana a Aloise Eliáše až po období, kdy byl postaven v roce 1947 před Národní soud a jeho dožití v Hostomicích pod Brdy. Zvláštní pozornost je věnována nejen Havelkově - pro širokou veřejnost málo známé - práci ve vládě a napojení na zahraniční odboj, ale také jeho soukromým postřehům z vazební věznice na Pankráci, kde byl držen ke konci roku 1941 a následnému domácímu vězení. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org) This bachelor thesis describes a life of Jiří Havelka from his birth in Russia, through his involvement in protectorate government under the ensuing premierships of Rudolf Beran and Alois Eliáš. The chronological structure of the analysis terminates with Havelka's sentence issued by the National Court in 1947 and the rest of his life in Hostomice pod Brdy. Special consideration is given not only to Havelka's governmental activity and links to the resistance, which to date remains generally unknown by the wider, but also to his accounts and observations from the Pankrác penitentiary, where he was held in custody till late 1941, and his subsequent imprisonment.
