Dizertační práce se zabývá možnostmi dramatické výchovy ve výuce anglického jazyka na 2. stupni základní školy. Cílem bylo přispět k rozvinutí oboru didaktika anglického jazyka v českém prostředí a pokusit se kriticky vymezit možnosti dramatické výchovy jako přístupu k výuce v tomto oboru. Východiska této práce jsou založena na sociálně konstruktivistickém hledisku, akcentu na principy holistického učení a vychází z požadavků na změny ve vzdělávání v souvislosti s probíhající kurikulární reformou školství. Teoretická část práce zahrnuje kromě terminologické analýzy též podrobné seznámení s výukovými strategiemi dramatické výchovy a jejich aplikací ve výuce anglického jazyka. Cílem empirické části bylo zjistit názory a přesvědčení u souboru učitelů ze základních škol a studentů pedagogické fakulty oboru anglistika na možnosti využití dramatické výchovy ve výuce anglického jazyka. Výzkumný design byl smíšený a výzkumné šetření bylo vedeno ve dvou rovinách, formou dotazníkového šetření a formou experimentální výuky. Metody sběru a analýzy dat zahrnovaly dotazníkové šetření, pretest a posttest, zpětnou vazbu formou detailních reflexí výuky. Výsledky ukázaly, že názory učitelů a studentů mají mnoho společných rysů. Možnosti využití dramatické výchovy ve výuce anglického jazyka jsou podle nich omezené,... The dissertation focuses on the possibilities of drama in English language teaching in the second stage of basic education. The objective was to contribute to the development of ELT methodology in the Czech environment and to try to critically define the possibilities of drama education as an approach to instruction in this field. The starting points of this dissertation are based on social constructivism, accent the principle of holistic learning, and stem from the demands for changes in education in connection with the curricular reform of the education system that is currently underway. Apart from a terminological analysis, the theoretical part of the dissertation also contains a detailed introduction to the teaching strategies of drama education and their application in English language teaching. The goal of the empirical part was to find the beliefs of a cohort of teachers from primary schools and of English Studies students at the Faculty of Education regarding the possibility of using drama in English language teaching.
