Bakalářská práce MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) se zabývá problematikou edukačního potenciálu médií se zaměřením na novodobý fenomén ve vzdělávání - masivní online kurzy. Mapuje jejich vývoj, hodnotí výhody online vzdělávání a zjišťuje rozdíly mezi absolventy masivních online kurzů v České republice a v zahraničí pomocí dotazníkové metody. Předmětem práce je rovněž zdokumentovat, co předcházelo masivním online kurzům skrze vývoj a definování distančního vzdělávání, e-learningu a celoživotního vzdělávání. Čtenáři jsou také seznámeni s výhodami a nevýhodami masivních online kurzů v porovnání s klasickým vzděláváním. V závěru práce jsou shrnuta veškerá zjištění, výsledky výzkumu a nastíněny možnosti dalšího vývoje MOOC. It traces their development, evaluates the benefits of online learning and identifies the differences between graduates of the massive open online courses in the Czech Republic and abroad, using the questionnaire method. Moreover, the paper documents what preceded the massive online courses, through the development and defining of distance education, e-learning and lifelong education. The readers are also made aware of the advantages and disadvantages of the massive open online courses in comparison to traditional education.
