Práce Motivace dívek ke studiu vědeckotechnických oborů vysokých škol se věnuje problému nízkého počtu dívek na školách vědeckotechnického zaměření. Zkoumá, jak jsou dívky ke studiu motivovány, jaké vlivy na ně při výběru školy působí a jaké faktory je nejvíce ovlivňují. Práce se snaží určit míru vlivu socializace a to tedy vliv rodiny, poté školy a učitelů, kamarádů a spolužáků a také jiných možných vlivů jako například možnosti budoucího uplatnění. Dále se zaměřuje i na možné vlivy společnosti a stereotypů a rozdílů ve vrozených vlastnostech chlapců a dívek. Výzkum byl rozdělen do dvou částí, nejprve byly provedeny rozhovory s dívkami, které v současné době vědeckotechnické obory studují a poté bylo uskutečněno dotazníkové šetření s dívkami v posledních ročnících středních škol. Po provedení analýzy dat a sepsání zjištění došlo ke konečné diskuzi a interpretaci. Dívky ve výběru školy ovlivňují rodiče především svou podporou, dalším silným vlivem jsou učitelé, kteří svými pedagogickými schopnosti a podporou dokáží silně na dívky působit. Důležitá je záliba v matematice, jelikož oblíbenost předmětu koreluje s výběrem vysoké školy, dále také dobrá možnost budoucího uplatnění. Chlapci jsou stále bráni jako lépe přizpůsobeni pro vědeckotechnické obory, dívkám je zas přisuzována píle a pečlivost.... The thesis Motivation of girls for studying Science and Technology Universities deals with the problem of the low number of the girls on the Science and Technology Universities. It explores how the girls get motivated, what are the influences in the process of choosing the university and what factors influence them the most. The thesis tries to find out the degree of the influence of the socialization like family, the school and the teachers, friends and the classmates and other, such as the possibility of the future employment. It then tries to explore the amount of influence that is done by society and stereotypes and differencies between girls and boys natural characteristics. The research was divided into two parts, at first I made interviews with the girls that already study at the Science and Technology universities, then I did the questionnaire inquiry with girls from the last grade in the highschools. After the data analysis and writing the findings, I get to the final discussion and interpretation. Girls are mostly influenced by their parents especialy because of their support, the next strong influence is the school and the teachers with their pedagogical capabilities and also support.
