Snahou práce je přehledně shrnout průběh přípravných prací na edici, především dílo Josefa Emlera, jeho způsob práce a její výsledky - dva publikované svazky edice. Kromě toho si tato práce klade za cíl připravit zpřístupnění zbývající části materiálu, shromážděného Emlerem pro nikdy nevydané pokračování edice, jako nutný předpoklad jakéhokoli dalšího bádání v tomto směru. Klíčová slova: Josef Emler; Diplomatika; Desky zemské; Vydávání historických pramenů The effort of the work is to sumarizing the course of preparated works on the edition, first the work of Josef Emler, his methods and its results - two publicated volumes of edition. Except this the aim of this work is preparing of background for the publication of the remaining part of the material, collected by Emler for never publicated continuing of the edition, as a necessary presumption of any other search into this direction.
