Tématem diplomové práce je zachycení města Opočna a jeho krajiny ve vybraných, významných topografických pramenech z období 18. a 19. století. S ohledem na různé typy použitých pramenů je hlavním cílem komparace jejich výpovědní hodnoty a sestavení obrazu krajiny města v minulosti. Úvod zahrnuje začlenění tématu do širokého pojetí historické regionalistiky a obsahuje stručnou historii i popis současného stavu města. Práce je dále členěna do jednotlivých kapitol podle použitých pramenů. Zvláštnímu zřeteli byly podrobeny operáty prvního vojenského mapování a stabilního katastru, které pro Opočno obsahují písemný i kartografický materiál, jsou dobře porovnatelné díky časovému odstupu a odlišným důvodům svého vzniku. Pro snazší pochopení studovaných pramenů i vybraného území je práce doplněna obrazovou přílohou a ukázkami starých i současných map. The main aim is to compare relevance and value of the selected significant sources and to assemble a picture of the town's landscape in the past. An introduction integrates the topic of the diploma into various historic regionality and covers a brief history and description of a state of the town of Opočno. The thesis is divided into several chapters according to the selected sources. We paid particular attention to cadastral documentation of the first Military Survey and to Stable cadaster that includes written and cartographical materials of the town. These sources are comparable because of the diverse time interval and the different purposes of origin. In order to provide thorough understanding of the studied sources and the region, the thesis includes picture elements, supplements and samples of historic and contemporary maps.
