Předložená diplomová práce se věnuje Janu Šemberovi Černohorskému z Boskovic, významnému šlechtici druhé poloviny 16. století, poslednímu zástupci moravského panského rodu z Boskovic. Práce popisuje jeho životní osudy od dětství až do smrti, které ovšem zasazuje do širšího kontextu rodinných i společenských souvislostí a vytváří tak komplexní pohled na vyššího šlechtice své doby. Zvláštní pozornost je věnována celému boskovickému rodu, zejména jeho poslední generaci, kde kromě Jana Šembery vystupuje v prvé řadě jeho bratr Albrecht Černohorský z Boskovic a dále přítel a příbuzný Jan z Boskovic a na Třebové. Klíčový je ve spojení s osobností Jana Šembery moment převzetí rodového odkazu Lichtenštejny skrze manželství s boskovickými dědičkami, Šemberovými dcerami Annou Marií a Kateřinou. Reflektován je význam těchto svazků spojený s dědictvím, a to jak majetkovým, tak symbolickým pro samotné Lichtenštejny a způsob, jakým s boskovickým odkazem nadále zacházeli, případně jakým způsobem jej využívali. This diploma thesis is dedicated to Jan Sembera Cernohorsky of Boskovice, Moravian aristocrat from the second half of 16th century, the last descendant of an important family of Boskovice. It describes his life story from the childhood to the death which it puts into the broader context and creates a comprehensive view of the higher nobles of his time. Particular attention is paid to the family of Boskovice, especially its last generation, which represent aside from Jan Sembera primarily his brother Albrecht Cernohorsky of Boskovice and Semera's friend and relative Jan of Boskovice and Trebova. The specific role in Jan Sembera's biography necessary plays the transfer of the legacy of the house of Boskovice to the Liechtenstein's family. This was accomplished through two marriages between Karl and Maxmilian of Liechtenstein and Sembera's daughters Anna Marie and Katerina. The importance of those alliances is reflected in the perspective of both financial as well as cultural capital inherited by the House of Liechtenstein and the way how did they use and treat it.
