Cílem této bakalářské práce je poukázat na systém průmyslových vztahů jako na jeden z klíčových aspektů produktivity práce, potažmo charakteru ekonomiky. V první, teoretické části práce stručně charakterizuji úlohu odborových organizací v evropských ekonomikách v transformačním období, dále pak v ekonomikách tradičně demokratických, přičemž poukazuji na značné rozdíly v pojetí významu odborů. Vybraná skupina západních demokratických zemí je dále předmětem vlastní analýzy práce. Jejím smyslem je pokusit se pomocí empirických dat zjistit, zda existuje určitá závislost mezi mírou odborové organizovanosti a vývojem produktivity práce. K analýze mám k dispozici data z let 1990 až 2005, přičemž ke komparaci jsem si vybrala pět evropských demokratických zemí: Švédsko, Německo, Itálii, Francii a Velkou Británii. Mým záměrem je poukázat na fakt, že ačkoli napříč evropskými zeměmi došlo k plošnému oslabení odborových členských základen, současná síla odborů a úspěšnost kolektivního vyjednávání vychází převážně z tradice pojetí systému pracovních vztahů té které země. Otázkou pro tuto práci je, do jaké míry ovlivňují instituce, příznačné pro každý ze systémů, charakter produkčního procesu. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org) The aim of my bachelor thesis is to point out the industrial relations system as one of the key aspects of labor productivity, as well as the character of the economy. At first, I describe briefly the role of trade unions in the Post-Socialist Europe, and then in the advanced industrial democracies, to show the main differences in the interpretation of trade union meaning among these countries. The selected group of western democratic countries is the analysis' object. It's purpose is to try to find out if there exists any correlation between union density and labor productivity. I have at disposal the data for the period of 1990 to 2005 and I have chosen five European traditionally democratic countries to be compared: Sweden, Germany, Italy, France and Great Britain. My intention here is to point out the fact that despite overall weakening of European trade unions' personal resources the current union power and collective bargaining achievements depend predominantly on the traditional industrial relations concept of each country.
