Diplomová práce mapuje situaci v oblasti lidských práv duševně nemocných osob v systému péče o duševní zdraví v České republice. Poskytuje základní přehled relevantních mezinárodních standardů lidských práv a upozorňuje na některé přetrvávající nedostatky právní úpravy české, včetně přehledu oblastí, které se jeví z hlediska dodržování lidských práv duševně nemocných osob v systému péče o duševní zdraví nejkritičtější. Kromě teoretického ukotvení problematiky z legislativního hlediska poskytuje diplomová práce také základní vhled do fungování systému péče o duševní zdraví a postojů neziskových organizací pracujících v oblasti k problematice. This master's thesis outlines the situation of mentally ill people regarding the respect for the human rights within the mental health care system in the Czech Republic. In addition to the legislative framework, the thesis provides a basic insight into the mental health care system as well as the perspectives of the NGOs operating in this field.
