In my master thesis I am trying to introduce the czech insurance market in the conditions of centrally planned economy (1948-1989). Then I am trying to describe the next development of it in the conditions of the market economy. At the end I am focusing on the preparation of the czech insurance market for enlargement of the European union, I am also describing the unnecessary changes of the legal form of the market. V neposlední řadě se věnuji přípravám českého pojistného trhu ke vstupu České republiky do Evropské unie, soustředím se také na změny v právní úpravě, potřebné pro přiblížení se ke standardům států Evropské unie.
