Abstrakt: The article presents an overview of the development and current state of research on political parties in Central and Eastern Europe and the level of integration so far achieved within the broader European political research community. Following this short overview the authors identify "blank spaces" in research on political parties in Central Europe and relevant topics for future research projects.
