Disertační práce se zabývá problematikou požárů komunálních a průmyslových odpadů, zejména pryže a halogenovaných polymerů. Při hoření těchto materiálů dochází k uvolňování značného množství škodlivin do složek životního prostředí. Analýzou vzorků podrobených tepelnému rozkladu v laboratorních podmínkách byly zkoumány vznikající charakteristické látky v závislosti na podmínkách hoření. Šíření těchto látek do životního prostředí bylo sledováno u vzorků ovzduší, vody a půdy odebraných během reálných požárů, ke kterým došlo v letech 2007 – 2011 v Západočeském kraji. Většina vzorků byla analyzována pomocí plynové chromatografie s hmotnostně spektrometrickou detekcí. Dále byl zkoumán vliv hasebních metod a použití hasebních prostředků na vznik a šíření produktů hoření, především do půdy a vodních zdrojů. This thesis deals with the issue of fires of municipal and industrial wastes, particularly of rubber and halogenated polymers. When these materials burn, significant amount of harmful substances liberate into environmental compartments. Analysis of samples subjected to thermal decomposition in laboratory conditions explored formation of characteristic compounds in dependence on conditions of combustion. Samples of air, water and soil taken from real fires that occurred between the years 2007 – 2011 in the region of Western Bohemia monitored spreading of these substances into the environment. Majority of these samples were analysed by the means of gas chromatography with mass spectrometric detection. Additionally the effect of extinguishing methods and use of fire extinguishers on formation and spreading of combustion products was studied, especially in soil and in water sources.
