Táto práca popisuje vývoj raketových motorov od prvých rakiet až po súčasnosť. Práca je rozdelená do na tri základné časti. Prvá časť popisuje základné fyzikálne princípy, ktorými sa musí raketa počas letu riadiť. Druhá časť popisuje základné rozdelenie raketových motorov a typy používaných pohonných látok. V poslednej časti sa práca zameriava na ruský, americký a európsky raketový program. Popisuje základné typy kozmických rakiet s uvedením používaných motorov. This thesis describes the development of rocket engines since the beginning to present time. The thesis is divided into three parts. The first describes the main physical principles, which have to be respected during the flight. The second part talks about the basic division of rocket engines and the used fuel types. Tle last chapter deals with Russian, American and European rocket program. It describes the main types of space rockets together with the engines they used.
