Tato práce je zaměřena na frézování a jejich nástroje. V první části jsou popsány základní údaje pro frézování, které jsou nezbytné pro stanovení řez-ných podmínek a druhu frézování, a kde je popsán způsob rozdělení a ozna-čení frézovacích nástrojů. Další část práce je zaměřena na sortiment frézova-cích nástrojů vybraných třech druhů firem a to na rovinné frézy firmy WALTER AG, Sandvik Coromant, Pramet Tools, s.r.o. V poslední části jsou popisovány doporučené oblasti pro použití frézovacích nástrojů již jmenovaných firem. This bachelor thesis deals with the subject of milling and relevant devices. The first part introduces the essential data about milling, the information necessary for specification of the cutting conditions and the form of milling. It also provides the description of types and labelling of milling machines. The second section centres on the milling device assortment of three companies, specifically on slab mills by WALTER AG, Sandvik Coro-mant, Pramet Tools, s.r.o. The final part of the thesis comments upon the rec-ommended usage scope of the machinery produced by the companies men-tioned above.
