V říjnu 2004 věnovalo CVVM pozornost krajům a krajským samosprávám. Výzkum mimo jiné zjišťoval, jak se podle dotázaných zavedení nového krajského zřízení osvědčilo a jaké cíle považují pro svůj kraj za prioritní. In October 2004 CVVM focused on the regions and regional self-government. Among other things the research looked at how respondents evaluated the introduction of the new system of regional administrative divisions and what objectives they considered a priority for their region.
