Bakalářská práce představuje Tunisko jako jednu z velmi atraktivních destinací cestovního ruchu. Cílem této páce je analyzovat cestovní ruch v zemi, jeho faktory a strategii předpokládaného vývoje do roku 2016. Na základě dotazníkového šetření zpracovaného autorkou je v závěru práce charakterizován největší tuniský ostrov Djerba a jeho rozbor turismu z pohledu českých klientů. Dále se práce věnuje teoretické rovině, stručné charakteristice Tuniska a SWOT analýze, ovlivněné teroristickými útoky v roce 2015. K řešení daného problému byly použity především analýzy ekonomického dopadu vydané Světovou radou cestování a cestovního ruchu, data vydané UNWTO, data ze stránek Světové banky a Světového ekonomického fóra a pomocné materiály získané od Tuniského národního úřadu pro cestovní ruch v ČR. Výsledky této práce umožňují zhodnotit danou situaci Tuniska na trhu cestovního ruchu a charakterizovat klientelu, pro kterou je ostrov Djerba nejvíce atraktivní a z jakých důvodů. The Bachelor´s thesis represents Tunisia as one of the most attractive tourist destinations. The aim of this thesis is to analyze tourism and its factors in the country and expected development strategy till the year 2016. A survey via questionnaire was carried out on the Island of Djerba (by the author). The island is briefly described and the tourism on the island is analyzed from the perspective of Czech clients. This thesis also covers the theory of tourism and includes a brief description of Tunisia plus SWOT analysis, which was influenced by the terrorist´s attacks in 2015. To discuss these problems the following sources were consulted: the analysis of the economic impact issued by the World Council of Travel and Tourism, data issued by UNWTO, data from the World Bank and the World Economic Forum websites and auxiliary materials obtained from the Tunisian National Tourism Authority for the Czech Republic. The results of this study assess the situation in the Tunisian tourism market and provide information about which type of clientele prefer the Island of Djerba and the reasons why.
