V diplomové práci s názvem "Stárnutí populace ČR jako problém budoucnost a otázka udržitelnosti sociální péče o seniory" se budu zabývat historickým vývojem poskytování sociální péče seniorům, úlohou státu v zajišťování seniorů a mapováním současných způsobů poskytování sociální péče starým lidem. V rámci svého výzkumu se pokusím zhodnotit udržitelnost tohoto systému prostřednictvím evaluačního výzkumu. Ten bude využívat, jak kvantitativní, tak kvalitativní výzkumné metody, a hodnotit systém z více úhlů pohledu, konkrétně z pohledu státu, budoucích potenciálních uživatelů a poskytovatelů služeb sociální péče. V závěru se pokusím předložit určitá doporučení, která vyplynou z výsledků výzkumu. This thesis with title "Aging Czech population as a problem of the future and the question of sustainability of social care for the elderly" aims to highlight this actual topic. The demographic prognoses predict a growing proporsion of seniors in population and it could imply much greater demand for social services in the future. Therefore, it is necessary to discuss this question today. In my thesis, I use evaluation research methods to try answer if the current system is sustainable.
