Výzkum je mužská doména a převaha mužů zde roste - Zvyšuje se horizontální segregace výzkumu: muži převládají (a jejich převaha roste) v oblastech, kam jde nejvíc finančních prostředků a které nabírají nejvíc nových pracovníků - Výzkum není schopen přijímat kvalifikované ženy - V profesích spojených s výzkumem přetrvávají mzdové rozdíly mezi ženami a muži, a to v každém věku - Zastoupení žen v rozhodovacích orgánech výzkumných institucí a politik výzkumu bylo v roce 2013 17,6 % - Nejvýznamnější instituce a orgány českého výzkumu a vědních politik takové hodnoty zastoupení žen ovšem zdaleka nedosahují. The 2013 Monitoring Report shows again that the current situation is far from satisfactory. A number of many important data is not collected at all, or irregularly. The data that is available document that the increase in the number of women among students and graduates is not mirrored in the proportion of women among researchers. This occurs despite the fact that the total population of researchers has been growing in recent years.
