Diplomová práce se zabývá testováním softwaru. Zaměřuje se především na praktické využití nástroje pro podporu testování HP Quality Center 11. Teoretická část vysvětluje základní pojmy z oblasti testování, představuje typy testování a zabývá se rolí testování v řízení projektů. V praktické části je demonsrováno reálné využití HP Quality Center 11 na projektu SEPA Direct Debit ve finanční instituci, dále jsou zhodnoceny jeho přínosy a nedostatky a podány návrhy na zlepšení. This thesis is focused on software testing, primarily on practical use of testing support tool HP Quality Center 11. Theoretical part of the thesis explains the basic concepts of testing, introduces the types of testing and pursues the role of testing in project management. Practical part demonstrates real use of HP Quality Center 11 in SEPA Direct Debit project in a financial institution, evaluates its benefits and shortcomings and suggests possible improvements.
