Vývoj archeologických a stavebně-historických výzkumů Brna od počátku v 19. století po současnost. Důraz byl položen na vývoj metodiky a výzkumných cílů. Zásadní přelom přinesl vznik specializované organizace v r. 1997, zaměřené na komplexní výzkum hmotných památek Brna v nejširším slova smyslu. Jedním z charakteristických rysů je propojení klasického archeologického a stavebně historického výzkumu stojících staveb. The development of the archaeological and building record-research in the town Brno until present. The biggest attention is concetrated on the development of research methods and destinations. The important qualitative moment brought the foundation of the specialised organisation, which pays the systematical attention to the research of Brno.
