Práce se zabývá právní úpravou procesu uzavírání pojistné smlouvy a následného zániku pojištění. Vychází přitom ze zákona o pojistné smlouvě a dalších právních předpisů z oblasti pojišťovnictví. Rovněž jsou zmíněna vybraná rozhodnutí Nejvyššího soudu České republiky. Cílem práce je rozebrat danou problematiku a zároveň zhodnotit stav současné právní úpravy. The thesis deals with the legislation process of concluding insurance contracts and the subsequent termination of insurance. The work stems from the Insurance Contract Act and other legislation in the area of insurance. There are also mentioned some selected decisions of the Supreme Court of the Czech Republic. The aim of this thesis is to analyze the issue and also to assess the status of current legal regulation.
