Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na komplexní problematiku letecké nákladní dopravy. V teoretické části je vysvětlena nejprve obecná charakteristika, stručně popsaná historie od počátků balónového létání až po současnost a následují poznatky ze specifikace letecké nákladní dopravy, popsání mechanismů logistických řetězců, systému hub and spoke, tvorba ceny, účel leteckého nákladního listu a seznámení s největšími společnostmi v odvětví, jejich sdružení v aliancích a výskyt největších nákladních letišť na světě. Praktické část je věnována představení speditérské firmy Czech Sky Cargo, s.r.o. a jejich nabízených služeb. Dále je na několika konkrétních vývozních a dovozních příkladech vysvětlena služba "door to door" s následným porovnáním letecké a námořní přepravy. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to focus on basic issues of international air freight. The theoretical part decribes brief history with most important moments and conventions. Furthermore it's followed by specification of the air freight transportation, mechanism of logistic chain, hub and spoke system, making of transport rates with functions of air waybill and as well as familiarization of the most important companies in this sector with the bussiest cargo airports in the world. Practical part contains the introduction of the freight forwarding company Czech Sky Cargo and it's services. In the end, the specific examples of export and import examples are presented in addition to describe the "door to door" process.
