Celá bakalářská práce je rozdělena na pět základních částí, první dva, oddíl Evropská unie a oddíl Předsednictví České republiky v Radě EU zpracovává základní informace o fungování Evropské unie a systému předsednictví a zahrnuje jak konkrétní informace o českém předsednictví, tak klíčové informace nezbytné k pochopení dalších dvou oddílů. Druhá polovina této práce se zabývá oblastí vnitřních věcí a justice v rámci Evropské unie a sleduje jejich vývoj v posledních letech a to především v průběhu českého předsednictví. This work is devided into 5 main parts. The first two parts, about the European union and the Czech EU Council Presidency, cover the main information about the European union functioning and Council Presidency system and includes both, concrete information about the Czecch Council Presidency and key information, which are necessary to understand following parts of that work. The second part of the work deal with the priorities in justice and home affairs issues within the European union and monitor their progress in the last years, but mainly during the Czech Council Presidency in 2009.
