Hlavním výsledkem je zavedení molekulárních metod detekce viroidu vřetenovitosti hlíz bramboru převážně ve šlechtitelských materiálech bramboru Solanum tuberosum. Tyto techniky jsou schopné citlivě a spolehlivě detekovat toto karanténní onemocnění bramboru v libovolném vývojovém cyklu rostlin. The main result is the establishment of molecular detection methods for potato spindle-tuber viroid (PSTVd) in breeding materials from potato Solanum tuberosum. These techniques are able to sensitively and reliably detect this quarantine disease during any developmental phase of potato.
