Sociální sítě jsou na vzestupu. Jsou využívány podniky všech velikostí, napříč odvětvími. Jsou však opravdu cestou k zvýšení produktivity zaměstnanců, nárůstu prodeje a celkového zájmu o firmu? Nebo se jedná jen o módní trend? Možnosti využití sociálních sítí, jako nástroje pro podporu businessu, jsou široce diskutované. V této práci je shrnutí objektivních i subjektivních názorů a zkušeností s využíváním sociálních sítí ve firmě. Autor seznamuje čtenáře s možnostmi využití sociálních sítí pro interní komunikaci. Klade důraz na praktické zkušenosti i koncepty jednotlivých veřejných sociálních sítí a porovnává je s neveřejnými sociálními sítěmi. Dále představuje možnosti využití sociálních sítí pro externí komunikaci a marketingovou prezentaci, opět s důrazem na reálnou použitelnost i koncept každé jednotlivé sítě. V práci jsou dále uvedeny studie a nejnovější průzkumy, které dokazují důležitost a rozvoj sociálních sítí v 21. století. Cílem práce je utvořit ucelený přehled využitelnosti sociálních sítí ve firmě, se zaměřením na interní komunikaci a komunikaci firmy s okolím. Social networks are on the rise. They are used by businesses of all sizes and across industries. But they are really the way to increase employee productivity, increase sales and overall interest in the company? Or is it just a fashion trend? Possibilities of using social networking as a tool to support business are widely debated. This paper is a summary of objective and subjective views and experiences with the use of social networking in the company. Author acquaints readers with the possibilities of using social networks for internal communication. It places emphasis on practical experience and concepts of various public social networks, and compares them with private social networks. It then discusses the possibilities of using social networks for external communication and marketing presentation, again with emphasis on the real usability and concept of each individual network. The paper also listed the most recent studies and surveys that show the importance and development of social networks in the 21st century. The aim is to form a comprehensive overview of the utilization of social networking in a company with a focus on internal communication and communication with the surrounding businesses.
