Práce se zabývá vznikem a řešením náročných situací mezi klienty s diagnózou Alzheimerova choroba a demence a pracovníky pobytové sociální sluţby Domov se zvláštním reţimem a jejich vzájemné interakce. V teoretické části se soustředí na objasnění samotné diagnózy včetně jejích projevů, s tím související paměť a její poruchy a komunikaci. Popisuje náročné situace vyskytující se při péči o takto nemocné klienty, teorii frustrace a stresu a dále také zmiňuje copingovou strategii. Na závěr teoretické části vystihuje osobu pracovníka ve vztahu ke klientovi. V metodologické části jsou objasněny pouţité metody výzkumy, tedy zakotvená teorie, zúčastněné pozorování a polostrukturovaný rozhovor. Ve výzkumné části byla představena instituce zabývající se sociální sluţbou a dále byly podle principu zakotvené teorie zanalyzovány jednotlivé polostrukturované rozhovory. V závěru práce bylo provedeno shrnutí náročných situací vyskytujících se při práci s klienty sociální sluţby Domov se zvláštním reţimem, specifikace agresivních situací, dále shrnutí emocí u pracovníků pomáhající profese a přehled ovládacích mechanismů jednotlivých pracovníků. This work deals with the origin and the solutions of difficult situations between clients diagnosed with Alzheimer disease and dementia and workers of the residential social service with special regime home and their interactions. The theoretical part will concentrate on clarification of the diagnosis, including symptoms, the associated memory and its disorders and communication. The work describes challenging situations encountered in the care of affected clients, the theory of frustration and stress, and also mentions a coping strategy. In the conclusion to the theoretical part, the work portrays the worker in relation to the client. The methods used for research are explained in the methodology section, that is the grounded theory, participating observation and the semi-structured interview. A social service institution was introduced in the research section, as well as an analysis of participating observations and individual semi-structured interviews according to the principle of grounded theory. The conclusion contains a summary of challenging situations encountered when working with the clients of the social service with special regime home, the specifics of aggressive situations, as well as the summary of emotions of the assisting staff and an overview of the control mechanisms of individual workers.
