Cílem této diplomové práce je popsat fungování systému účetního výkaznictví ve Velké Británii, určité aspekty procesu přípravy na implementaci IFRS, hlavní problémy v souvislosti s přechodem na IFRS a dopady zavedení IFRS na britské společnosti. This thesis aims to describe the system of financial reporting in the UK, certain aspects of the preparatory phase of the IFRS implementation process, main problems related to the implementation and impact of IFRS implementation on british companies.
